1:05 pm. Surgery just finished. All went well. They removed 3 lymph nodes. Initial survey under microscope looked like they were cancer free. They will do a more detailed exam on them over the next couple of days...it is still slightly possible that they have cancer in them. Tumor came very close to chest muscle so Dr removed a small piece just to have it checked. Better safe than sorry. Mary is in recovery now...should be able to see her in about 30 minutes. I will post another update after I see and talk to her.
